pib (printable intelligent bot)
pib (printable intelligent bot) is a free, open-source 3D-printable humanoid robot developed by isento GmbH in Germany as a hands-on platform for learning AI and robotics. The physical robot is a life-size humanoid upper body: a head with moving neck, two articulated arms with tendon-actuated hands and fingers, and a torso mounted on a stand. The pib-stls repository holds the complete printable parts library (99 STL files grouped into Head, Body, Arm and Hand & Finger) released under GPL-3.0. The robot is driven by Tinkerforge servo bricklets controlled from a Raspberry Pi, with a ROS2-based control stack (pib-backend, AGPL-3.0) providing motor control, camera, voice assistant and a Blockly visual programming interface. Build guides, the bill of materials and assembly tutorials are published on pib.rocks.

What you get
- A standardized, machine-readable robot schema derived from the source repo.
- A primary assembly 3D asset is available from ros_packages/pibsim_webots/protos/pib.proto.
- Source-backed bill-of-materials evidence is linked with per-part provenance where available. Prices marked estimated are not yet verified against a vendor.
- A transparent reproducibility score so buildability is a sortable, first-class property.
- Cross-links to the source repo, datasets, models, and forks.
