HOPEJr
HOPEJr is a source-available DIY humanoid robot from The Robot Studio, designed by Rob Knight with recent arm and hand work by Martino Russi at Hugging Face. It centers on low-cost Feetech serial-bus servos driving 3D-printed, tendon-actuated arms and dexterous hands, including underactuated fingers and an opposable thumb. The Hugging Face revision adds custom PCBs that reduce soldering, a matching teleoperation exoskeleton with hall-encoder joint tracking, and full LeRobot integration for recording, training, and inference. The repo ships STEP and STL files, PCB gerbers, and a detailed but unpriced source bill of materials. Motari renders the pinned right-leg URDF/STL assembly as a source subset visual, not as a complete humanoid.

What you get
- A standardized, machine-readable robot schema derived from the source repo.
- A limited/simplified source 3D asset is available from Humanoid/URDF/Right_Leg/robot.urdf.
- Source-backed bill-of-materials evidence is linked with per-part provenance where available. Prices marked estimated are not yet verified against a vendor.
- A transparent reproducibility score so buildability is a sortable, first-class property.
- Cross-links to the source repo, datasets, models, and forks.
